Black Moon Lilith is not a physical body but a calculated point, the empty focus of the Moon's elliptical orbit, the spot farthest from the Earth. It takes its name from Lilith, a figure of myth who refused to submit, and in astrology it represents raw instinct, the shadow self, and the part of a person that will not be tamed or made acceptable.
