Fall

Fall is a debility, the mirror of exaltation. A planet is in fall when it occupies the sign opposite its exaltation, where it feels weakened and out of place. Because the Sun is exalted in Aries, it is in fall in Libra, and because Saturn is exalted in Libra, it is in fall in Aries. In its sign of fall, a planet struggles to be recognized and to act with confidence. Its natural authority is undercut, and its expression can come through muted, uncertain, or overcompensating.
