Kite

A Kite is an aspect pattern built on a Grand Trine. It takes the three planets of a Grand Trine and adds a fourth planet that sits opposite one of them, while forming sextiles to the other two. The shape on the chart looks like a kite, with the opposition running down the center as its spine. A Kite keeps the natural talent of the Grand Trine but gives it a focus and an outlet, which the Grand Trine on its own often lacks. The fourth planet, sitting at the tip of the kite, becomes a point of release where the easy gifts of the triangle can be put to active use. The opposition adds just enough tension to turn flowing potential into real motivation. This makes a Kite one of the more fortunate patterns, blending ease with drive.
