What are these points?

Beyond the ten planets and the chart's angles lies a set of other meaningful spots. Some are minor bodies and some are calculated points, places worked out from the chart's geometry, yet each carries real significance and adds depth to a reading. Like the planets, every one is read by the sign and house it occupies. The lunar nodes, North and South, trace a person's direction of growth, the North pointing toward what is worth developing and the South toward familiar gifts already mastered. Chiron, a small body between Saturn and Uranus, marks a core wound and the healing that can grow from it. Black Moon Lilith speaks to the wild, untamed self. The Vertex points to fated encounters that seem to arrive from outside. The seven lots, calculated points such as Fortune and Spirit, highlight specific themes like wellbeing, will, desire, and reckoning. These points fill in detail the planets alone do not capture. They speak to wounding and healing, instinct and shadow, the direction of growth, fortune, longing, and fated turning points. Each entry that follows takes one of them in turn.
