Receptive Yin

The receptive polarity, also called yin, negative, or feminine, covers the earth and water signs: Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces. These six signs share an inward orientation. Their energy draws inward, responding to what comes rather than pushing outward. Everyone carries both polarities somewhere in their chart. Receptive signs tend to absorb and reflect rather than initiate. They take things in, respond thoughtfully, and direct their attention inward or toward what is already present.
