Social Planets

The Social Planets. Jupiter and Saturn are the social planets, sitting between the fast personal planets and the slow outer ones. They move at a middle pace, Jupiter taking about twelve years to circle the chart and Saturn about twenty-nine, so they are shared by people born within a few years of each other while still saying something personal through their house placement. These two describe how a person meets the wider world beyond the self. Jupiter is the urge to expand, to grow, learn, and reach for opportunity and meaning.
